Cypresswood Resident Rules
The following are important rules that are to be observed by all Cypresswood residents:
Garage and Yard Sales are prohibited.
Estate Sales are allowed under the following conditions:
Residents will request a sale through their individual HOA/COA board, who will control the process.
Estate Sales can be managed either privately or professionally by a liquidation or an auction firm.
Sale items must remain inside the home or garage, with a maximum of a two-day event.
HOA/COA leadership will notify Traffic Control personnel and their own residents of any events where outside participants are entering the community.
Pets must be kept on a leash and their waste picked up by their owners.
No boats, trailers, campers or motor homes permitted unless enclosed in a garage.
No overnight parking of RV's and motor homes.
Noisy and disruptive gatherings strictly prohibited.
Residents must notify the gate personnel, if expecting a guest after 10:00pm or the gate personnel will refuse entry.
No TV antennas or satellite dishes. (18 inch satellites permissible with restrictions.)
No portable buildings permitted ie: storage sheds, doll houses, etc.
No advertising signs (Realtor signs excluded) shall be erected.
No farm animals, livestock or poultry of any kind shall be raised or maintained.
Unlicensed motor vehicles; including, but not limited to, go carts, are not allowed on Cypresswood streets. Golf Carts are not considered motor vehicles.
The golf course is private property residents and guests must only enter the golf course via the clubhouse entry.
Fishing is allowed in the two ponds on the corner of Cypresswood Boulevard and Plantation Way; however, Fishing/Trespassing is NOT allowed in backyards of residences along the ponds. Enforcement is by Polk County Sheriff's Office.
All signage in Cypresswood must be obeyed. That would include speed limit signs, no passing signs and stop signs.
